SC CESIRO SA one of the biggest household ceramic producers in Europe, founded in 1957, in the city of Sighisoara, under the name of  Glass and Pottery Factory  of Sighisoara, is the successor of ceramic tradition specific for the cultural and spiritual space of Transylvania, being among the first companies in Romania in this field.

The factory was named CESIRO ( Ceramics, Sighisoara, Romania)  on 

January, 1st, 1991 when it began functioning as an independent unit, no longer a section of the former factory.

           Current production of household ceramics is highlighted through a very  wide range of products, in a colour palette of a diversity without  entry, having a production of 4,1 million pieces monthly, in a very large range of products like plates and platters between 10 cm and 32 cm diameter – with a production of 2 million pieces monthly-, mugs and bowls  between 70 ml and 500 ml capacity – with a production of 2 million pieces monthly -, casting products ( tea pots, vases, egg holders, napkin holders etc)  - with a production of  100 000 pieces monthly - having in production more than 100 colours monthly. Also, we can produce decorated products with decals, strips, lines, direct screen-printing, tampographie and hand painting.

To maintain its gained position on domestic and international markets, the company`s management will continue refurbishment projects envisaged for the coming years, also will be given more importance to working conditions of employees and environmental protection, so that CESIRO remains a viable and profitable company providing its customers quality products at competitive prices.
